Kathryn B. Grosse, age 93, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024.

Beloved mother of Kathleen G. Kelly (Thomas Kelly), Joseph M. Grosse (Nancy Minor) and son-in-law Darren J. Vogelman. Kay had 11 cherished grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren: 4 step grandchildren and 6 step great-grandchildren.

Kay was preceded in death by her beloved husband Anthony "Junior" J. Grosse, her son Anthony "Buddy" J. Grosse and daughter Jean Ann Vogelman; her parents, Catherine and James Murphy, sister Delores Kane and brother James Murphy.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Kay, eventually settled in Westbrook Park, then Drexel Hill. She was a proud graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in 1949.

Kay will be remembered as a warm hostess. Her door was always open and she loved nothing more than cooking and entertaining her family and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Bernadette of Lourdes Church, 1035 Turner Avenue Drexel Hill, PA 19026 on January 10, 2025, at 11 am with visitation preceding at 10 am. Interment will be private.
