Kathryn Brown Davis, of St. David's, PA., passed away on January 24, 2010 at the age of 97. She was the wife of the late Sherwyn L. Davis to whom she was married for 56 years.

A graduate of Chestnut Hill College, Kay was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia. Throughout her life, she was active in numerous organizations, including Wills Eye Hospital where she was an auxiliary member for many years and at St. Joseph's Prep Mother's Club. She was also a devoted volunteer at St. Katharine of Siena Parish and Surrey Services for Seniors.

She was a loyal friend and instilled a spirit of care and giving to others of all ages and every walk of life. She will be sadly missed by her countless number of friends and acquaintances who were so dear to her throughout her life.

She will be especially missed by her family, including her children: Mary Ann Miner and her husband Douglas; Kathryn Mattimore and her husband Peter; Carolyn Graham and her husband James; and Richard Davis and his wife Maryanne; as well as her 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday January 28th at St. Katharine of Siena Church, Wayne, PA. Visitation will be at 9:30 AM and the Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
