Karen Bogart Yoh died suddenly on Monday June 25, 2007 at her residence in Haverford, PA. She was 42.
Karen was a graduate of The Agnes Irwin School and Duke University. An owner of Day & Zimmermann Inc., Karen was President of D & Z's Barclay Travel Division and Vice President of Corporate & Community Affairs. A long-time board member of institutions such as the Coriell Institute and the Duke University Library, Karen spent the past two years devoting her time towards various volunteer activities and philanthropic pursuits. Karen's dedication to youth programs and mentoring reflected her deep life-long love for children.
Karen is survived by her father and mother, Spike and Mary Yoh; her brothers Hal, Mike, Jeff and Bill; 4 sisters-in-law and 14 nieces and nephews. She was also loved by many, many friends and their children. Her family and friends will always remember her generous and loving spirit.
Following a private interment service, a Memorial Celebration will be held Thursday June 28, 11:00 AM at Church of the Redeemer, Pennswood & New Gulph Rds., Bryn Mawr, PA.
