June (nee Miskovish) Kerrigan, a former resident of Rosemont, PA passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025 at the Delaware Valley Veterans Home in Philadelphia. She was the wife of the late Charles W. Kerrigan, her husband of 56 years. Mrs. Kerrigan was born on July 21, 1924 in Donegal, PA, the daughter of Paul and Elizabeth Miskovish.
After graduation from Ramsay High School in Mt. Pleasant, PA, she enlisted in the United States Navy the following year. June completed her basic training at Hunter College, New York City, prior to being assigned to the Navy's field branch in Cleveland, OH. As a proud Navy veteran, she achieved the rank of Yeoman Chief First Class, and was authorized to wear The American Campaign and World War II Victory Ribbon.
She is survived by her sons Charles (Mary) Kerrigan and William Kerrigan, two sisters, Bernadine (George "Rick') Paxton, Sister Mercedes, O.S.B., nephew Stephen Paxton, niece Nancy Paxton, and great-grandson Paul Johnson. In addition to her husband Charles, she was predeceased by her sister Sarah (Peter) Coretti, Ronald (Agnes) Miskovish, nephew Ronald Joseph (Nancy) Miskovish, Regina Miskovish, and granddaughter Corinne Kerrigan.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas of Villanova Parish Rosemont Chapel, 1229 E. Lancaster Avenue, Rosemont, PA on Saturday, January 3rd at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve Veterans Cemetery, Rittman, OH at a later date.
