REV. JOSEPH LEONARD SHANNON, O.S.A., AUGUST 21, 2007- of St. Thomas Monastery, Villanova, PA. Beloved son of the late Leonard B. and Marie C. O'Loughlin Shannon. Loving brother of Paul Shannon, Margaret Ripple and Sr. Theresa Marie Shannon, R.S.M. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Reverend Clergy, relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation Sat. Aug. 25 from 10 to 11 AM with Funeral Mass to commence at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas of Villanova Church (on the Villanova Univ. Campus), Villanova, PA. Interment will be held at a later date in St. Mary's Church Cemetery, Brookville, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made for the care of sick and elderly Augustinians. Donations may be made to the Augustinian Fund, Provincial Offices, 214 Ashwood Rd., Villanova, PA 19085-0340.
