Joseph T. Pro passed away peacefully in his home August 20, 2022. He was the beloved husband of 54 years to Cathy (nee Mullin). Loving father to Jessica (Cliff Mackay) and the late Joseph Thomas Pro, Jr. Brother to Barbara (Peter Hopkins), Colleen (Len Narewski) and Mary Kay (late Eric Snyder).

Joe was born in Philadelphia, PA to Mary Doris (Pisano) and Frederick Peter Pro. He graduated from St. Joseph's College (before it became a university). A resident of Bryn Mawr for nearly 50 years, he and his wife hosted many a New Years Eve bash and 4th of July pool party.

Professionally Joe was a VP of sales and retired from the US Navy Reserves. He was a great story teller, avid traveler and fantastic, albeit inventive, cook. Joe traveled to all 50 states and 102 countries. He could give you a restaurant recommendation in nearly any city in the world.

Joe was one of the most generous people you could meet, he would truly give the shirt off his back to those he cared for. Despite cost, he preferred to patronize those he knew, and always had 'a guy for that.'

Family and friends are invited on Tuesday August 30 to a Visitation from 10:00 to 11:30 AM with a Funeral Mass to begin at 11:30 AM at Our Mother or Good Counsel Church, 31 Pennswood Road, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.  Interment will be private at a later date. Reception to follow the service.
