Joseph R. Abendroth, formerly of Wynnewood, PA., passed away on November 10, 2014 at Sunrise Assisted Living of Exton in Exton, PA. He was 89.
Son of the late Harry and Elsie Reigle Abendroth, he was born on August 5, 1925 in Philadelphia, PA.
He was the beloved husband of the late Helen M. Abendroth (nee Wilson). Devoted father of Christina M. Homan (David). Loving grandfather of Michael Homan.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday November 14, 10:30 AM at St. Margaret Church, 208 N. Narberth Ave., Narberth, PA. Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 9:30 AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to VA Medical Center, 3900 Woodland Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19104.
