JOHN S.MYCEK, MARCH 24, 2006- of King of Prussia, formerly of Manayunk, PA. John died peacefully surrounded by his family. Son of the late Michael & Hedwig Kosiak Mycek, he was born in Manayunk in 1920. He was a familiar presence for many years at the Philadelphia Skating Club in Ardmore. He was stationed in Italy during WWII, serving as a Sgt. in the Army Air Corps. John co-owned and operated Ardmore Radiator in Ardmore for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing from his home in Brigantine, NJ and was an avid bowler and a boxing enthusiast. He will be remembered as a devoted, loving husband and caring father and grandfather. Beloved husband of 57 years of Mary Rita Mycek (nee Esposto). Devoted father of John Mycek (Chris Novelli), Dina Romano (Stephen) and Alan Mycek (Liz). Loving grandfather of Danielle, Andrea and Stephen Romano; Matthew and Marissa Mycek and Lauren Novelli. Brother of Sarah, Dorothy and the late William, Frank, Michael, Joseph and Anne.
