John A. Mariscotti, formerly of Bryn Mawr, PA., passed away on August 3, 2018 at Delaware Valley Veterans Home in Philadelphia. He was 85.

Son of the late Adolph and Anna Gresko Mariscotti, he was born on April 28, 1933 in Philadelphia, PA. He was a graduate of Germantown High School and LaSalle University. John at one time served as President of the National Railway Utilization Corporation (NRUC). He was an avid sports fan of all of his city's teams, especially Super Bowl Champions, the Philadelphia Eagles!  He was a friendly, kindhearted person and always had a welcoming smile to all those he met.

John was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Mariscotti (nee Malloy). Loving father of Cathlyn Ann (Mark Ulrich), Janine, David (Steve Fabiani) and Marisa.  Devoted grandfather of Julia, Daniel, David and Philip.  Dear brother of Elizabeth "Babe" Posey.  He is also survived by nephews James, William and Robert Posey.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday August 9, 11:00 AM at  St. Margaret Church, 208 N. Narberth Ave., Narberth, PA .  Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 9 AM.  Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
