Rev. John Francis Lipp, O.S.A.'s Obituary
REV. JOHN FRANCIS LIPP, O.S.A., died on December 3, 2012 at The Bryn Mawr Hospital. He was a member of the St. Thomas of Villanova Monastery community. Son of the late John J. Lipp and Barbara E. Smith Lipp, he had one brother and three sisters. Besides his religious brothers, Fr. Lipp is survived by a sister Theresa Lipp and a brother Charles as well as several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Thomas of Villanova Monastery Chapel (Univ. Campus), Lancaster Ave., Villanova PA on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 10:30 AM. Clergy, religious, relatives and friends may visit at the Chapel after 9:30 AM. Interment will take place immediately following the Funeral Mass in the Augustinian plot at Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers, the Augustinian Community ,of which Father Lipp was a beloved member, wishes contributions to be made to the Care of Sick and Elderly Augustinians Fund, c/o Provincial Offices, 214 Ashwood Road, P.O. Box 340, Villanova, PA 19085-0340.
