John P. Kearns, of Honey Brook, formerly of Ardmore, PA. passed away on April 10, 2023 in Wynnewood, PA. He was 84.

John was born and raised in Ardmore. He was a member of St. Colman and St. Matthias parishes. John attended West Catholic H.S. and Villanova University. He owned and operated Gunzenhauser Auto Parts and towing business for 30 years. After selling the business he continued to operate towing equipment into his early 80's. Being in the auto business he provided many cars to family and friends over the years. When something went wrong he would arrive with a part, whether it be a new battery, alternator, starter or a tow truck if needed. John was an avid fan of Dodge and Mopar. He was frequently consulted and was well versed in the automotive field. John had a soft heart for dogs. His pets were always very spoiled and well cared for. He will be dearly missed by many.

John is survived by his wife Barbara Hayden Kearns; sons John, Tom (Ami), Jim (Kristin) and Dan (Sara) and his 5 dear grandchildren Ella, James, Mack, Harry and Baker.

Relatives and friends are invited on Friday April 14th, 9:30 AM Visitation with a 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Matthias Church, 128 Bryn Mawr Ave., Bala Cynwyd, PA. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
