John "Jack" M. Geiger, 62, of West Norriton, PA died June 21, 2016 at Bryn Mawr Extended Care Center. Jack succumbed to the effects of a massive stroke after suffering severe smoke inhalation in a home fire on Jan 6, 2016.

A lifelong bachelor, he spent his entire life in Norristown as did his father, grandfather and great grandfather whose forebears emigrated from Baden Germany in the late 1700's. While at Norristown High he played clarinet in the marching band. He had a lifelong love of music and literature with an extensive collection of books and records. Jack was a computer programmer by profession.

He was predeceased by his parents Warren and Anna and his brother Robert.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation on Saturday September 17, from 10 to 11 AM with a short Prayer Service at 10:15 AM at McConaghy Funeral Home, 328 W. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore, PA. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Norristown.
