Joanne Heim, of Bryn Mawr, PA., passed away on May 23, 2021 at Bryn Mawr Hospital. She was 82.

Daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine Ford Deano, she was born on October 4, 1938 in Bryn Mawr, PA.

Joanne was a graduate of Lower Merion High School. She was a staple at El Greco in Bryn Mawr, PA where she worked as a waitress and had many loyal regular customers that came in to grab a meal and see her. She also worked for many years at A. Talone Dry Cleaners in Ardmore, PA. as well as serving as a long time crossing guard for Radnor Township where she loved her daily interactions with both parents and the kids she crossed.

Joanne was the wife of the late Charles Heim and William J. Gallagher. Devoted mother of William (Coleen), Thomas (Marita), Joseph (Peg), Mary Jane Cassell and the late Debbie Hicks and Christopher Gallagher. Dear sister of Peggy Church, Florence Bright, Rosie Hyatt and the late Edward Deano, Joseph Deano, William Deano and Rita Sadleir. Loving "Nanny" to Kimberly, Thomas, Olivia, J.R., Catherine, Margaret, Anthony, James, William, Josie, Harry, Caroline and the late Dominique. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited on Friday May 28th to a Viewing at 9:30 AM with Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 AM at St. Katharine of Siena Church, 104 S. Aberdeen Ave., Wayne. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
