Joan C. Carey's Obituary
Joan C. Carey, of Haverford, formerly of Ardmore, PA., passed away on Friday April 13, 2007 at Bryn Mawr Hospital. She was 75.
The beloved daughter of the late John V. and Marie Murphy Carey, she was born in Philadelphia in 1931. She received Master's Degrees from both Villanova University and University of Pennsylvania. She worked for the University of Pennsylvania as a writer in the Development Office for 13 years.
She was the loving sister of Carol M. Carey and the late John Carey. She is also survived by several cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday April 17, 10:00 AM at St Colman Church, Lancaster Ave. & Argyle Rd., Ardmore, PA. Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 9:30 AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
