Jerome "Jay" S. Schmader passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025.

Jay was the beloved son of John T. "Jack" and Catherine "Kay" Schmader, brother to John Schmader (Sarah), Joanne Schmader (Michael Casassa), and Nancy Braccili (Chris).

He was the beloved uncle to Matthew, Tim and Mark Casassa, Jessica and Nicole Braccili, Bill and Molly Schmader.

Jay was born and raised in Bryn Mawr, attended Our Mother of Good Counsel, Archbishop Carroll High School, Bloomsburg University and Harcum College.

He loved watching sports, the beaches in New Jersey, shooting pool, music, keeping up with his nieces and nephews, and silly jokes. He was always smiling.

Relatives and friends are invited on Friday January 10th, Visitation from 10 to 11 AM with Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, 31 Pennswood Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.
