Jeremiah Joseph Sweeney, III., of Newtown Square, PA., passed away on November 20, 2016 at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood. He was 63.

Son of the late Jeremiah J. Sweeney, Jr. and Elizabeth White Sweeney, he was born in Bryn Mawr, PA on February 1, 1953.

Jerry was a graduate of Lower Merion High School. He was proud to live on the Main Line and he had many friends in the area and loved to support all of the local businesses.

He was the devoted father of Jeremiah J. Sweeney, IV. and Rebecca Sweeney. Loving grandfather of Cosette Anais Sweeney. Dear brother of Sharon Passarella, Beth Binns, Sheila Sweeney and the late Susan Sweeney and Rosemary Sweeney. He is also survived by his former spouses Holly Ruth Green and Kari Sullivan, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation on Saturday December 3, from 11AM to 12 PM with a Funeral Service to start at 12 PM. Interment is private.
