Jeffrey E. Hanhausen, of Wayne, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Wednesday, March 20, 2024.  Jeff was a loving husband to his wife, Lisa Hanhausen, and a devoted father to Elizabeth (Doug) Krugler, Christine (Jon) Maddison, and Jeffrey (Christine) Hanhausen, Jr. Jeff was a doting grandfather to Maginley, Will, Patrick, Jack, Noah, Emma, Caroline, Jeffrey, and Clara. Jeff is also survived by his adoring nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and countless friends who he considered family and who will miss him dearly.

Jeff was born on January 12, 1955, to the late Edward Henry Hanhausen and Ethel Ashworth Hanhausen and grew up in Bryn Mawr with his late sister Sheryl Shindel. Jeff was a graduate of The Haverford School and Ursinus College and earned his MBA at Drexel University. Jeff's career centered around his success at Invisible Fence—from employee, to owner, and back again—Jeff was never one to be able to let go of something or someone that he loved and Invisible Fence and its employees fell in that category. He cared deeply and permanently about so many. Not a day went by that Jeff didn't spend time helping a friend in need, whether it was checking in on them through a phone call or text, or meeting them for a meal and providing meaningful advice and guidance. Jeff's steadfast presence and support in the lives of so many people was nothing short of amazing.

Above all, Jeff was a true family man and cherished his role as husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and more. He loved planning his weekend schedule around his grandkids' sporting events, hosting family dinners with his kids and grandkids, and looked forward to his regularly scheduled lunch "meetings" with the boys.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Jeff's life at a Memorial Service on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 10:30AM at Wayne Presbyterian Church, 125 E. Lancaster Ave., Wayne, PA 19087 (Visitation prior to service from 9:30AM-10:15AM).  All are invited to join for the interment immediately following at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, 352 S. Gulph Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406.
