Jeannine Sirolli Boyer, age 87, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024 in Audubon, PA.

Beloved mother of Robert L. Boyer, Jr., Teresa M. Boyer (John Cashman), Mary F. Boyer (Paul S. Boyer), Jeannine M. Boyer, and Angela M. Meehan (Terrence Meehan) and cherished grandmother to Amanda Boyer, Anna Boyer, Cecilia Boyer, Andrew Boyer, Charlotte Cashman, Genevieve Cashman, and Evelyn Meehan. Sister to Nicholas J. Sirolli (Marie), and aunt to many beloved nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, Marianne and Nicholas A. Sirolli, and brother, Fr. Francis A. Sirolli, O.S.A.

Born in Philadelphia, Jeannine and her family eventually settled in Delaware County, PA where she spent the majority of her formative years. She graduated from West Philadelphia Catholic Girls High School in 1955.

Jeannine's vocation as a nurse and caregiver was evident throughout her life. She graduated from Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1958 and then went on to work as a registered nurse at Magee Rehab Hospital and the VA Hospital in Philadelphia.  She married Robert L. Boyer, Sr. in 1970, moved to Bucks County, PA and there focused on caring for her children while serving as a substitute school nurse in the Bensalem School District.  Later in her career, Jeannine moved to Langhorne, PA, where she spent over 15 years as a nurse on the rehab unit of St. Mary Medical Center.  She was very active in Our Lady of Grace Parish and served as a Eucharistic Minister.

Jeannine will be remembered as a warm and selfless caregiver to her family, friends, and to those who sought her comfort and guidance in dealing with health issues over the years.  Her ready laugh, deep faith, kindness, love, and engaging spirit were core to her person, and had shown through even while suffering from dementia.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas of Villanova Church on the campus of Villanova University, 800 E. Lancaster Ave., Villanova, PA, on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 11 AM, with Visitation preceding at 10 AM.  Interment will be privately held at a later date.
