Janet Grace Mita's Obituary
JANET GRACE MITA (nee Myers), formerly of Rosemont, PA. passed away on Friday February 10, 2006 at her residence in Newtown Square, PA. She was 61.
Daughter of the late Louis W. and Ruth Kelly Myers, she was born in Darby, PA in 1944. She attended Villa Maria Academy and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Honolulu, Hawaii after moving there with her family in 1961. She continued to live in Hawaii until 1971. She attended Seattle University. Janet's talent as an interior designer shaped her whole professional life and she shared her gift through Strawbridge & Clothier, Sofa Works, Shihadeh Rug Co. and Sheffield Furniture. Her hobbies included swimming and horseback riding.
She was the beloved wife of John F. "Jack" Mita. Devoted mother of Michael Louis Mita and John Lawrence Mita. Loving stepmother of Jacqui Mita DiBianca, Frank L. Mita, Eustace W. Mita, Marie Margaret Bruder and Mary Q. Dwyer. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday February 15, at St. John Neumann Church in Bryn Mawr, PA. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
