Janet Knoerzer (nee Bennett), of Paoli, formerly of Linwood, PA. passed away on January 28, 2019 at Paoli Hospital.  She was 86.

Daughter of the late Earl Lynn Bennett, Sr. and Kathryn Porter Bennett, she was born in Chester, PA on January 2, 1933.  Janet was a graduate of Chichester High School.  She worked for many years as an administrative assistant at Sun Oil Company.

Janet was the beloved wife of Jerome Knoerzer.  Devoted mother of Craig Murphy (Donna) and the late Rev. William L. Murphy and Nancy Lee Murphy.  Loving grandmother of Michael, Shannon and Willliam Murphy.

The service for Janet was originally scheduled and listed on our funeral home website for Friday May 3rd, but it has been pushed back one week,  therefore, relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Service on Friday May 10th, 10:30 AM at Elam United Methodist Church, 1073 Smithbridge Rd., Glen Mills, PA.  Following the service, the interment will take place in the church cemetery.
