JAMES V. "BOBBY" ROMANO, of East Norriton, formerly of Ardmore, PA., passed away on Wednesday March 29, 2006 at Mercy Suburban Hospital in Norristown, PA. He was 87
Son of the late Pasquale and Michelina Lenzi Romano, he was born in Blackhorse, PA in Plymouth Township. He attended Norristown High School. He served in the US Army during World War II, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant, and he fought at the Battle of the Bulge. Since 1950, he had owned and operated "Bobby's Luncheonette" in Ardmore for 45 years before retiring in 1994.
He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Marie A. "Netty" Romano (nee Parente). Loving brother of Ann DeAngelis of Pottstown, Albert "Halfie" of East Norriton, Raymond of Lewes, DE., William of Audubon and the late Lewis, Salvatore, Charles, Joseph, Palma Pasortious and Floyd. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Funeral Mass Sat. April 1, 10:00 AM at St. Titus Church, Norriton Dr. & Keenwood Rd., E. Norriton, PA 19403. Interment will be private.
