James J. Dooley, Jr., "Jim", age 84, of Ardmore, PA., passed away January 21, 2024. Son of the late James J. Dooley, Sr. and Katharine Dooley (née Reamer). Cherished brother of Ruth Egan, Kathy (Jack) Coyle, and Frank (Judy) Dooley. Predeceased by brother Jack Dooley and brother-in-law John Anthony "Tony" Egan. Dear Uncle to Frankie, John, Erin, Dennis, Brian, Timothy, Malachy, and Austin. Great Uncle to seven grand nephews and four grand nieces.

A 1961 graduate of Villanova University, Jim worked for 38 years as an accountant for Arkema USA (f/k/a Pennwalt Corporation).

Jim served two years active duty in the United States Navy aboard the USS Neosho, a fleet oiler. He participated in the October 1962 Naval Quarantine of Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation 9-10 AM Friday February 9, 2024 followed by his Memorial Mass 10:00 AM at St. Colman Church, Lancaster Ave. & Argyle Rd., Ardmore, PA 19003.  Interment will be private at a later date.
