Obituary

James J. Clark, Jr. of Dunwoody Village, Newtown Square and Narberth, PA., passed away on November 22, 2018.  He was 87.

Son of the late James J., Sr. and Frances Ruddy Clark, he was born on October 29, 1931 in Philadelphia, PA.  He was a graduate of St. Joseph's College in Philadelphia. Jim was a Lieutenant Officer in the US Navy between 1955 and 1957.

Jim was the beloved husband of the late Mary C. Clark (nee Groos).  Devoted father of James L. (Mary Kay), Patrick (Barbara), Mary "Frankie" (Daisy), Julia Broderick (Stephen) and Michael (Jennifer).  Loving grandfather of Christina (Timothy), James J., Shannon, Kelly, Daniel, Lauren, Stephen, Jr., Sean, Christopher, Emily, Grant, Sara and M. Scott.  Great-grandfather of Gwendolyn and Alexander.  Dear brother of Mary Lange.

A builder and realtor by profession, Jim had many passions and interests: sports, singing, playing the piano, reading and card games with friends, to name a few. He served as President of Narberth's Borough Council and had been a longtime Catholic Youth Organization coach and was active in parish life. He made friends easily and was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday November 27, 10:30 AM at St. Margaret Church, 208 N. Narberth Ave., Narberth, PA.  Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 9 AM.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Edmond's Home for Children, 320 S. Roberts Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.
