Irene T. Becker (nee Marcelis), formerly of Narberth, PA and Deerfield Beach, FL., passed away on Saturday November 25, 2017.  She was 92.

Daughter of the late Edward and Irene Frances Grumbine Marcelis, she was born in Philadelphia on August 16, 1925.

Irene was the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Becker, Jr.  Devoted mother of Louise Brennan (Late Dave), Joanne Becker, Edward (Ursula), Elizabeth Kelly (Scott), George (Anne), Peter, Nancy McLaughlin (Denis), Nicholas (Barb), Therese Kaley, Peggy Ciarciello (Late Steven) and the late Charles J., III. (Julie) and Andrew W.  Loving "Nino" to 38 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  Irene loved family and most of all being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was very devoted to the catholic church, volunteering much of her time with St. Margaret Parish and also with CYO.  She also volunteered and helped fundraise for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  After her family, her next greatest love was for her Philadelphia Phillies of whom she was a diehard fan.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday December 2, 11 AM at St. Margaret Church, 208 N. Narberth Ave., Narberth, PA.  Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 9:30 AM.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Margaret School, 227 N. Narberth Ave., Narberth PA 19072.
