Henry J. McLean, Jr., "Bud", of Narberth, PA., passed away on Monday June 18, 2007 at Brighten @ Bryn Mawr Nursing Home. He was 81
Bud was the son of the late Henry J. and Helen Hare McLean, he was born in Philadelphia in 1926. He was a graduate of St. Joseph Preparatory School and attended St. Joseph University. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Bud worked as an insurance agent for various companies, including CNA Insurance where he spent 25 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 355 in Bala Cynwyd, where he served as Commander for many years. He was also a volunteer with N.I.C.E. (Neighborhood Improvement and Civic Endeavour) in Narberth for many years.
Bud was the beloved husband of Jane H. McLean (nee Lacey). Loving brother of Margaret Daly, Suzanne O'Connor, Donald McLean and the late James McLean and Elizabeth Cancelmo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday June 22, 10:30 AM at St. Margaret Church, N. Narberth Ave., Narberth, PA. Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 9:30 AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Phila. PA 19103.
