Helene R. Kropp (nee Smith), of Newtown Square, PA., passed away on June 17, 2022 at The Bryn Mawr Hospital. She was 77.

Helene was the beloved wife of Dennis W. Kropp. Devoted mother of Sara Chrupcala (Ron), Amy Schwarz (Marc), Amanda Kropp (Dave Sporer) and Emily Kropp (Jason Menzo). Loving grandmother "Gigi" of Caitlin, Tellian, Bridie, Angus, Ryder, Stephanie, Jenny and Carter. Great-grandmother of Carson & Victoria.  Dear sister of William Smith (Maureen), Patrick Smith (Susan) and the late Joseph Smith (Carol).

Helene while being the oldest sibling to 3 brothers became a mother to 4 girls who meant the absolute world to her along with her devoted husband of 56 years Denny. These are a few of her favorites things: attending all her children's events growing up and her involvement in their school, Sacred Heart,  being a very attentive Gigi because what else do you name a hip, young, fashion forward grandmother who always showed up at her grandchildren's sporting events, artistic and school shows, being the helper, the beach, a good book, traveling, laughing at her husband's jokes and antics, an interesting conversation, her quest to always learn and evolve as a person, being the hostess with the mostest as she always had the big Christmas party for her family but anyone who didn't have a place at a table were always welcome at hers, above all else her family. They were her heart and center.

Relatives and friends are invited on Saturday June 25 ^th to a Visitation from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM with Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA. Attendees are encouraged to wear any variation of pink to the church. Interment is private.
