George F. Wells, III., of Upper Darby, PA. passed away on September 11, 2019 at Taylor Hospice in Ridley Park, PA.  He was 51.

George was more commonly referred to as "Geof" by his family and close friends.

Son of the late George F., Jr. and Nancy Sheridan Wells, Geof was born on March 26, 1968 in Bryn Mawr, PA.  He was a graduate of Archbishop John Carroll High School and of West Chester University.  Geof enjoyed spending time with his family.  He was an avid outdoorsman , enjoying hunting and fishing and he had a special interest in history and the military.

He was the loving brother of Diana Schaffer (Keith), Ken neth Wells (Ernestine), Beverly Wells, Brenda Gray (Michael) and Jacqueline Hasson (Brian).  He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews and 1 grand-nephew.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation from 9: 0 0 to 10:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM on Monday , September 16th at St. John Neumann Church, 380 Highland Lane, Bryn Mawr, PA.  Interment will follow in St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown , PA.
