Gary Armand Temoyan, formerly of Wynnewood, PA., passed away on February 16, 2019 at his residence in Collegeville, PA. from complications from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis more commonly known as ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease He was 49.
The beloved son of Armand and Joan Plisinski Temoyan, Gary was born on December 15, 1969 in Wynnewood, PA. He was a graduate of Lower Merion High School and received his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from West Chester University. Gary worked for the Lower Merion Police Department as a patrolman, bike officer and, his favorite, as a motorcycle officer. Diagnosed back in 2007 Gary continued to work as a Lower Merion Police Officer until his illness would no longer allow him to.
Gary was the devoted father of Joseph and Tyler Temoyan. Loving brother of Richard Temoyan (Debra), Linda Jones (Kyle) and Karen Murphy (Raymond). Dear uncle of Alec, Madeleine & Cameron Temoyan; Cory, Brooke & Morgan Jones; and Cole, Brendan & Connor Murphy. He is also survived by his girlfriend Kimberly Eves.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friiday February 22 nd from 5 to 8 PM at McConaghy Funeral Home, 328 W. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore, PA . Funeral Mass will be on Saturday February 23rd, 9:30 AM at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, 31 Pennswood Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter , 321 Norristown Rd., #260, Ambler PA 19002.
