Frederick Henry Fleitz, formerly of Lansdowne, PA, passed away on September 8, 2021 at his residence in Wynnewood, PA. He was 89.
Son of the late Frederick and Catherine Butler Fleitz, Fred was born on September 19, 1931 in Chester, PA.
Fred was a warm, loving man beloved by all who knew him. He had a huge heart and incredible sense of humor that could make anyone smile. He was engaging and outgoing and pursued his love of public speaking as a member of Toastmasters International, a volunteer speaker for the American Cancer Society, and a member of the Sunday Comics. Fred was truly a people person who always thought of others before himself and he will forever be remembered for his incredible love, kindness, and generosity.
Fred was the beloved husband of Mary Catherine Fleitz (nee Keane). Devoted father of Frederick H, Jr. (Julie), Mary B. Miller (the late Christopher), Anne E. Guerin (Chris), Michael B., John J. (Joanne) and Eileen C. McLaughlin (Ryan). Dear brother of Theresa Anderson and the late Marie Kerr. Loving Pop-Pop of Christopher Miller, Frederick Fleitz, Emily Guerin, Marie Fleitz, Michael Miller, Michelle Guerin, Daniel Guerin, Stephanie Fleitz, Joseph Fleitz, Brogan Fleitz, Eian Fleitz, Madelyn McLaughlin, Catherine McLaughlin and Anastasia McLaughline. Also survived by his sisters-in-law Anne Keane and Sr. Bernadette Keane, IHM and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited on Wednesday September 15th, 9:30 AM Viewing followed by 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Margaret Church, 208 N. Narberth Ave., Narberth, PA. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken.
**For those unable to attend who wish to participate virtually, the Funeral Mass will be livestreamed at 10:30 AM on the St. Margaret Parish website at www.saintmarg.org
