Frank N. , April 12, 2017 of Havertown, Pa. Beloved husband of the late Mary Trifiletti Taconelli. Loving father of Irene Slawter, Carol Couey (Larry) and Frank J. Taconelli.  Dear grandfather to Barry and Michael Slawter & Jesse and Ava Taconelli.  Great grandfather to Nate, Bianca and Madeleine Slawter.  Also survived by his twin sisters Spinalba Forte and Anna Vanella.  Born and raised in Philadelphia, he graduated from Southern High School for Boys.  He then served in the Army Air Corps during WWII.  After retiring from the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. he continued to pursue his love of music. He taught guitar both privately and at schools including Agnes Irwin, Merion Mercy Academy and those in the Haverford Township school district.  He inspired both young and old to appreciate the gift of music. Funeral Mass Mon. April 17, 11:00AM Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA.  Relatives and friends may visit at the church after 10:00AM.  Int. Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Children's Cancer Society www.thenccs.org .
