Frank Phillip Henderson's Obituary
Frank Phillip Henderson, of Valley Forge, PA., formerly of Hilton Head Island, SC. and Rosemont, PA., passed away on Sunday June 13, 2010. He was 67.
He was the beloved husband of Sally; devoted father of Christopher (Allison), Bryce (Victoria), and Sarah-Kate. Proud grandfather of Graham and Sydney. Loyal brother to Gretchen, Nonie, Dianna, and Peggy.
Phil grew up in Michigan's Upper Peninsula where he learned to love ski jumping and racing. While attending the University of Denver, he was on the US Ski Team, training for the 1964 Olympics. He then joined the US Navy as a corpsman attached to the Recon Marines. After graduating from Michigan State University with highest honors, he went on to work at Accenture becoming a Partner in 1976. Phil was an avid sailor and boatman his entire life until the recent sale of his beloved motor yacht Halcyon. Above all else nothing was more important to him than family.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 16, at 11:30 AM., at Washington Memorial Chapel, Route 23, Valley Forge, PA 19481. Interment is private.
