Frances V. Powers' Obituary
Frances Vassallo Powers, of Northfield, NJ., formerly of Ardmore, PA., passed away on Friday November 7, 2008 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point, NJ. She was 95.
Daughter of the late Andrew M. and Ragnhild Neilson Vassallo, she was born in Ardmore, PA in 1913.
She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years Augustine F. Powers and her grandson Stephen J. Fisher.
Survived by her devoted daughters, Nina Powers Fisher (Dan), Patricia A. Coll (late Tony) and Margaret M. Rybarczyk (Tony); 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and her sisters Carmella Thoring (late Bill) and Ragnhild Smith.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday November 13, 10 AM at St. Colman Church, Lancaster Ave. & Argyle Rd., Ardmore. Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 9 AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Heart Assoc., Memorial Fulfillment Ctr., 5455 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43214.
