Frances Thomas Light passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at her home in Bryn Mawr. She was 86 years old.
Daughter of the late Wayne and Helen Hauser Light, (and later, Seth Bardwell, step father), she was born on October 11, 1921.
A graduate of Harcum Junior College, she studied business administration and held several administrative positions during her working career. For Frances, curiosity and knowledge were the hallmarks of intelligent people. She questioned relentlessly and committed herself to life-long learning.
She is pre-deceased by her brother, William W. Light of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, her niece, Marcia Light Lindquist of Spokane, Washington, and is survived by her Niece Susan Light Kuhn and husband, William of Atkinson, New Hampshire, her Great Niece, Jennifer Mattson of Sandown, New Hampshire, and close friends and caregivers who appreciated and loved her for her strength of purpose, quest for perfection in all things, and her independent nature. She will be sorely missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday, December 1st at 1:00 PM at McConaghy Funeral Home, 328 W. Lancaster Avenue, Ardmore, PA.
