On Monday, July 21, 2025.  He was a member of the Augustinian community of Saint Thomas of Villanova Monastery. Son of Leo J. Flynn and Jeanette V. Daly, and brother to Jean. Father served in various Augustinian ministries in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania as Teacher, Prior and Head of School at Malvern Preparatory School.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 10:00am to 3:00pm at Malvern Preparatory School and on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 9:00am to 11:00am at St. Thomas of Villanova Church on the campus of Villanova University, followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Burial following at Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA.  In lieu of flowers, the Augustinian Community requests that donations be made in memory of Fr. Flynn to The Augustinian Fund, Care of Sick and Elderly, P.O. Box 340, Villanova, PA 19085.
