Fr. George P. Lawless O.S.A., died on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at St. Thomas of Villanova Monastery. He is the son of the late George P. Lawless and Margaret J. [McGinley] Lawless. He was predeceased by his sister, Sr. George Margaret, SSJ, and brothers: John Lawless and Bernard Lawless. Besides the friars of the Province of St. Thomas of Villanova, he is survived by his siblings: Margaret McNally, Edward Lawless, Denise Quigg and Joseph Lawless and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in the Church of St. Thomas of Villanova (Campus Church), Lancaster Ave., Villaonva, PA. on Monday, March 14, 2016, at 10:15 AM. Clergy, religious, relatives and friends may visit after 9:00 AM. Interment will take place immediately following the Funeral Mass in the Augustinian plot at Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA.
