Fr. Robert M. Burke, O.S.A. passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at St. Thomas of Villanova Monastery, Villanova, PA.  He was 91.

Son of the late Thomas Burke and  Violet Marshall, he was born on April 18, 1927 in Atlantic City, NJ.  He was pre-deceased by his brother Thomas Burke and sister Caroline Ullman.  Besides his religious brothers, he is survived by his sister Patricia Brown and 17 nieces and nephews.

Among his ministries, Fr. Burke served at Monsignor Bonner High School, Malvern Preparatory School and Villanova University.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Viewing on Monday, September 24, 2018 beginning at 6:30 pm in the Church of St. Thomas of Villanova on the campus of Villanova University, Lancaster Ave., Villanova, PA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 7:30 pm.  Burial will be on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10 am in the Augustinian plot at Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken.
