Fr. John J. Sheridan, O.S.A. passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023.  He was a member of the Augustinian community of Saint Thomas of Villanova Monastery.

Fr. Sheridan was the son of Elizabeth Sheridan. Father served in various Augustinian ministries in Washington D.C., New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Florida and Japan as Pastor, Teacher, Missionary and Archivist of the Province.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas of Villanova Church on the campus of Villanova University, 800 Lancaster Ave., Villanova PA. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the Augustinian Community requests that donations be made in memory of Fr. Sheridan to The Augustinian Fund, Care of Sick and Elderly, P.O. Box 340, Villanova, PA 19085.
