Fr. Edward J. Dixey, O.S.A. passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023. He was a member of the Augustinian community of Saint Thomas of Villanova Monastery.

Son of Joseph Dixey and Mary Walsh, and brother to Joseph, Robert and Mildred. Father served in various Augustinian ministries in New York and Pennsylvania as associate pastor, teacher and master of professed.

Relatives and friends are invited on Thursday September 7th, Viewing at 9:00 AM followed by Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Thomas of Villanova Church on the campus of Villanova University, 800 E. Lancaster Ave., Villanova, PA.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the Augustinian Community requests that donations be made in memory of Fr. Dixey to The Augustinian Fund, Care of Sick and Elderly, P.O. Box 340, Villanova, PA 19085.
