Fr. Kail C. Ellis, O.S.A., passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Arden Courts. He was 85.

Son of the late Toufic Ellis and Angele Hobieche, he was born in Carthage, NY, on September 17, 1940.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews and his Augustinian brothers. He was predeceased by his brothers Delor, Raff, Fr. Alfred, O.S.A., and sisters Alfreda and Theresa (Sister Marie Angele, SSJ).

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, December 30th, from 9:00 am-11:00 am in the Church of St. Thomas of Villanova on the campus of Villanova University, 800 Lancaster Ave., Villanova, PA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Burial, after the Mass, will be at the Augustinian plot at Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the Augustinian Community requests that donations be made in memory of Fr. Kail C. Ellis, OSA, to The Augustinian Fund , Care of Sick and Elderly, P.O. Box 340, Villanova, PA 19085.
