Pennsylvania native, Korean War veteran, and retired engineer Floyd Robert Rhodes, 88, died on October 21, 2019, surrounded by members of his family.

Bob lived a long and productive life that was characterized by his love of family, whom he supported through meaningful and hard work in a diverse career in Civil Engineering.  He was a big personality who guided his family and touched the lives of many beyond. He will be missed by his brother, four children, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, and honoring Bob's commitment to education, his family asks for contributions in Bob's name to the Penn State University Harmer A.
