Elvira M. Fittipaldi's Obituary
ELVIRA M. FITTIPALDI (Nee BUONOMO), formerly of Rosemont, PA., passed away on Friday February 10, 2006 at her residence in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was 92.
Daughter of the late James and Clara D'Amico Buonomo, she was born in Philadelphia in 1913. She was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls. She worked as an administrative assistant and was associated with the Augustinian Seminary Guild for over 50 years.
She was the beloved wife of the late Edward A. Fittipaldi. Devoted mother of Silvio E., Ph.D. (Agnes Albany, Ph.D.), and Edward R. (Patricia M.). Loving grandmother of Carolyn, Christine (Scott), Lisa, Marcella (Robert), John (Amy), Thomas (Kathryn), Michael (Kim) and Kevin (Lorie). Great grandmother of Haley, Ryan, Kaitlin, Kailee Grace, Ryan, Meredith, Jakob Patrick and Baby M. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Marie Bonds and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday February 18, 11:00 AM at St. Thomas of Villanova Church on the University Campus, Lancaster Ave, Villanova, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing at the Church after 10:00 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Augustinian Seminary Guild, P.O. Box 340, Villanova, PA 19085 or to the Fox Chase Cancer Research Center, 333 Cottman Ave., Phila. PA 19111.
