ELIZABETH HILL WALSH, of Bryn Mawr, PA., passed away suddenly on December 29, 2007 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, due to injuries she sustained in a automobile accident. She was 77.

Daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Hill, she was born in Philadelphia and raised in Drexel Hill, PA. She was a graduate of St. Andrews School, Villa Maria Academy in Malvern, PA. and Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital School of Laboratory Technology. She also attended Rosemont College. She was a 20 year volunteer at the Bryn Mawr Hospital Thrift Shop.

Betty was the was the beloved wife of the late Vincent J. Walsh. Dear sister of William J. Hill (Molly), Sarah H. Bradley (late Raymond) and twin sister Jane H. Bradley (Edward). Also survived by her step-sons Vincent J. Walsh, Jr. (Helaine) and Anthony F. Walsh (Edith); 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday January 3, 10 AM at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, 31 Pennswood Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA. Interment is in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM or Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at McConaghy Funeral Home, 328 W. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore, PA.
