Elizabeth Anne McClave died on February 19, 2021, 9 days from her 99th birthday. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA to Francis and Roseanne (Gilmartin) O'Rourke. "Betty" was pre-deceased by her husband, Bernard Duncan McClave, to whom she was married for 55 years. She is also pre-deceased by her son Brendan, her sister Mary Dunn and her brothers Bill and Frank O'Rourke. She is survived by her children Sharman, Allyson Baker (Brian), Duncan (Lisa), Michele (Paul Derby), Christopher and Lizann Marchetti (Eric). She greatly enjoyed the company of her eight grandchildren: Cody and Shanley McClave, Christopher Jr. and Carly McClave, Evan, Conner and Lauren Marchetti and Lana Derby.

Betty assisted her husband in running their business, Conestoga Cleaners in Rosemont, for many years. Upon retirement they traveled the USA and Canada extensively in an RV and enjoyed the beauty of Alaska 12 times. They also traveled throughout Europe most enjoying the visit to her ancestral home in Sligo, Ireland, which she had visited with her mother as a small child. Betty vacationed more than 70 summers (and many Autumns) at "The Farm" in Connecticut, fitting clothes and outdoor gear for 7 kids in one station wagon. She was grateful to have the Conestoga Swim Club to entertain her kids over the summers. She was an active member of St. Thomas of Villanova Parish in Rosemont throughout her life, attending K-8 at the Parish school.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday February 27, 11 AM at St. Thomas of Villanova Chapel, 1229 Lancaster Ave., Rosemont PA. The Mass will be livestreamed at www.stthomasofvillanova.org The burial will be held at South Cemetery in Colebrook, CT this summer.
