Elizabeth F. "Bitsy" Connolly, widow of John D. Connolly, and mother of Thomas P. Connolly, died in her home on October 17, 2025 at the age of 81.

Bitsy grew up in Wilton, Connecticut. After graduating from Colby-Sawyer College, she moved to New York where she worked at the Rockefeller Foundation. In 1990 she moved to the Philadelphia area with her husband and son. Bitsy was an avid gardener and member of the Garden Workers. She spent many summers with family and friends in Saltaire, Fire Island. Remembered for her laughter and bright smile, Bitsy was beloved by her family, friends, and neighbors.

Bitsy will lay to rest in Connecticut, next to her husband John. Services will be private.
