Edwin F. Saxman, III., "Ned", 80, of Villanova, PA., passed away in his sleep on March 25, 2023 at home with his son and grandson by his side.

Ned was born on November 20, 1942 to Edwin F. Saxman, Jr. and Louise Snively Saxman.  After graduating from Harriton High School he went on to Tennessee Wesleyan earning a degree in Mathematics.

In 1963 he married his 1st wife Janie Buchanan from Knoxville, TN., they had two children together Edwin Forrest Saxman, IV.  and David Marseilles Saxman.

Ned spent the majority of his work career as a successful stockbroker for Dean Witter /Morgan Stanley.

Ned's true love was tennis, squash and bridge, he was an accomplished racquet player at the collegiate level plus representing the Merion Cricket Club well in many events …he was a fierce competitor.

Ned was predeceased by his wife Janie and Maryann Saxman , he is survived by his sons Edwin and David and his 5 grandchildren Sarah, Emily, Kathleen, Christian  & Edwin Forrest the 5th.

There will be a private ceremony held at Saint Peters Church in the Great Valley this coming Father's Day weekend.
