Rev. Edward V. Griffin, O.S.A.'s Obituary
Rev. Edward V. Griffin, O.S.A., died on January 4, 2014 at St. Thomas of Villanova Monastery, Villanova, PA. Son of the late Gerald A. and Madeline Berry Griffin, he had one brother. Besides his religious brothers, Fr. Griffin is survived by two nieces, a nephew and several cousins. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wedesday January 15th in the Chapel of St. Thomas of Villanova Monastery on the Villanova University Campus, Lancaster Ave., Villanova, PA. Clergy, religious, relatives and friends may visit after 10:00 AM. Interment will take place immediately following the Funeral Mass in the Augustinian plot at Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA. The Augustinian Community of which Father Griffin was a beloved member wishes contributions to be made to: The Augustinian Fund for the care of sick and elderly, c/o Provincial Offices, P.O. Box 340, Villanova, PA 19085-0340.
