Edith Corinne Aherne, of Bala Cynwyd, PA., formerly of Boston, MA and San Francisco, CA., passed away on October 2, 2006 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She was 47.
She was born in Washington, D.C. in 1959. She worked as an attorney in Philadelphia for the law firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.
She was the beloved wife of Robert K. Urquhart. Devoted mother of Duncan A., Calum K. and Anne C. She is also survived by her parents Richard W. and Nancy Maes Aherne and her brothers Christopher and Nicholas Aherne.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 4, 2:00 PM at Haverford Friends Meetinghouse, 855 Buck Ln., Haverford, PA 19041.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bala House Montessori School Edith C. Aherne Building Fund, P.O. Box 2480, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 (www.balahouse.org)
