Dolores M. Noone passed away peacefully on Sunday May 16, 2010 at Waverly Heights in Gladwyne. She was born in July 1922 and pursued a career as a teacher and school nurse after graduating from Immaculata University in 1944. Dolores was married in February 1958 to John F. Noone. Dolores and John raised their family in Lancaster, PA and Newton, NJ then moved to Gladwyne in 2001 to be near their family.

She is survived by her husband, John F. Noone, of Gladwyne; her sister Anne M. Murphy, of Media; her daughter, Carolyn P. Noone and her husband, Stephen R. Horner, of Wayne; her son, John F. Noone and his wife, Eva Kay Noone, of Bryn Mawr and her four grandchildren, Allison M. Horner, Katie R. Horner, Trevor X. Noone, and Grace M. Noone.

Her family will remember Dolores for her loving devotion to them, strong faith in God, and warm, caring spirit. All who knew her will miss her kindness, compassion, and wonderful sense of humor.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday May 20, 9:30 AM at St. John Vianney Church, 350 Conshohocken State Rd., Gladwyne, PA. Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 9:00 AM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Saint John Vianney Church or to Waverly Heights, Ltd., 1400 Waverly Rd., Gladwyne, PA 19035.
