Dolores M. Callahan (nee Mayeux), formerly of Bryn Mawr and Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on December 3, 2022 at Rosewood Gardens in Broomall, PA.  She was 96.

Daughter of the late Gaston Mayeux and Bessie Wills Mayeux, Dolores was born in Alexandria, Louisiana on May 7, 1926.

Dolores was the beloved wife of the late John A. Callahan.  Devoted mother of Patricia Callahan (Bill Double), Beth Magrann (Jack) and Kathy Williams (Rich).  Loving Mimi of Christine Magrann (Joe DiRienzi), Ryan Williams (Melissa), Jake Williams and the late Colleen Magrann Morin (Casey). Great-Mimi of Mackenzie Serafino, Parker Serafino and Reid DiRienzi.

Dolores (known to family and friends as Doe) adjusted well to life in the north after she and Jack were married, but never completely lost her southern accent. She was also our champion whistler. Doe enjoyed many summers in Cape May with family and friends.

After raising her daughters, Doe was employed in the commercial loans department at Bryn Mawr Trust for 10 years. As a retiree, she volunteered at a local thrift shop.

Relatives and friends are invited on Monday December 12th, Visitation from 10 to 10:30 AM with Funeral Mass to begin at 10:30 AM at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, 31 Pennswood Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA.  Interment will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
