David Peter Talone, age 55, passed away at his residence in St. David's, PA., on July 18, 2007 after an heroic ten year battle with cancer.


He was born and raised in Ardmore, PA., the seventh of eight children of the late Francis and Eileen Talone. He attended St. Colman School, Archbiship Carroll High School and Lower Merion High School. He graduated from Temple University and the National Institute of Drycleaning. David was co-owner of A. Talone Inc., in Ardmore, along with his sister Eileen and cousin Andy. David's interest in literature, music and friendships sustained him throughout his ten year illness. His great love and greatest legacy is his family.


David is survived by his devoted wife Trisha Talone (nee Pentony)., and his three loving daughters Bridget, Eileen and Mia. He will be greatly missed by his brothers Jim (Pam), and Tom, sisters Patricia, Eileen (Ann) and Marguerite (Christa); sisters-in-law Agnes Nicholas (Bill), Eileen Pentony and Claudia Black (Jim); and his parents-in-law Al and Marion Pentony. David also leaves behind may loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was pre-deceased by his brothers Nick and Allen, son Nicholas, nephew Luke and sister-in-law Jane Pentony.


Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation Tuesday July 24, from 6 to 9 PM at McConaghy Funeral Home, 328 W. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore, PA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday July 25, 10:30 AM at St. Katharine of Siena Church, Lancaster & Aberdeen Aves., Wayne, PA. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
